Welcome to beautiful Monterey, CA! FIT is excited to welcome you to our host hotel over the weekend as we get set to run the 2026 Big Sur International Marathon. As you settle into your home along the coast, say hello to your FIT guide and opt to join for an informal welcome reception this evening.

This morning, join your FIT guide for a shakeout along the stunning Pacific Ocean. After returning, head to the expo to pick up our race bibs. Please remember to bring a photo ID and your check-in pass. All bibs must be picked up by the runner. Rest of the day is free to explore Monterey and relax. Opt to join FIT at a local restaurant to fuel up before race day tomorrow!

Today's the day - early breakfast at the hotel before departing for the buses to head to the start(s). It's time to take on the 2026 Big Sur International Marathon. Whether your tackling 26.2 miles, 21 miles, 11 miles, 12k or 5k - you've got this! We will be cheering you on and can't wait to celebrate your accomplishments with you later today.
