After crossing the finish line in Berlin, continue the celebration by joining us on an adventure filled with Bavarian culture, beer, and breathtaking scenery. 

You’ll start with a scenic group transfer from Berlin to Munich via train, where we’ll kick things off with a welcome dinner. The next day, experience Oktoberfest like a local with guaranteed table seating in one of the famous tents, including chicken & fries lunch and a 2 litres of beer. 

For those staying longer, enjoy a free day in Munich to explore the German countryside with an optional visit to the iconic Neuschwanstein Castle or stay in town and book a walking tour. This extension is the perfect way to unwind and celebrate your marathon achievement—spaces will fill up fast!

After landing in Berlin, make your own way to the hotel; check-in is 4pm. We will have FIT guide hellos in the lobby this afternoon to answer any of your questions. Later this afternoon, opt to head to the expo to collect your race bib. The expo is 10K from the hotel/finish line area - you can transit via car or metro. Your race weekend free transit for runners will work on this day to get you to the expo!

For those who arrived yesterday, breakfast is included at the hotel. Today is a free day to explore Berlin. We recommend booking a city tour of the city! You are in the heart of the city and close to all Berlin museums. Opt to add the FIT walking tour experience to your travel program!

Explore museum island, to the Spree, Tiergarten, Reichstag, and more. 

For those arriving today, welcome! Upon arrival, grab your luggage and make your own way to the hotel!

Breakfast is included at your hotel. Race weekend activities continue for those that opt to register for the Generali 5K.  Rest of the day can be for exploring more of Berlin or resting up before important evening dinner. 

FIT RECOMMENDS: It is good to pre-book a dinner reservation for this evening as reservations can fill fast! Mama trattoria, Marea, Bocca de Bacco, Calice d'Oro & the chain of Vapiano are some great recommendations nearby!

Monday. After breakfast, begin your transfer from Berlin to Munich with the group.  Transfers to the train station and train tickets in are included in the package program.  

Depending on our arrival time - there might be time to explore the local area. This evening join FIT for a welcome dinner at a local tapas restaurant (shared plates style).

Tuesday. After breakfast, enjoy a walking tour of Munich with our local guides before it's time to celebrate Oktoberfest with a proper afternoon ticket (guaranteed table seating) into the famous Oktoberfest tents including a 1/2 chicken & 2 full liter beers for lunch! This evening you are free to continue Oktoberfest celebrations! 

Wednesday. For those departing today - we wish you safe travels homeward!  For those staying, today is a free day to explore Munich as you wish. 

We recommend you book a full day tour to Neuschwanstein Castle and take the day to embrace the beautiful Bavarian countryside! FIT is also happy to make recommendations of day tours or a local city tour to book.

After breakfast, check out of your hotel room.  Safe travels homeward.
